Cyprus is the third largest and third most populous island in the Mediterranean. It is located south of Turkey, west of Syria and Lebanon, northwest of Israel and Palestine, north of Egypt, and southeast of Greece. Its capital is Nicosia. Eventhough the official languages are Greek and Turkish, english is also spoken by the majority of the people which gives the island an international outlook. French and German are also well spoken within the tourist industry.
Tourism occupies a dominent position in the economy of Cyprus. The beautiful clean beaches, ancient monuments and scenic sceneries of Paphos, Ayia Napa, Larnaka, Limassol, Kap Greco are well attarcted by the tourists.
